AEPi has used the Jewish Youth Promise for the past four years, and Rob notes that it has helped AEPi proactively build a culture of committed Jewish community members by starting conversations about legacy and Jewish continuity early. In the years since AEPi incorporated the Promise, he’s seen young alumni step into real leadership roles, demonstrating a pipeline from Promise to action. Mira shared that the Promise created a powerful, reflective moment for NFTY seniors, including herself, in encouraging them to pause and capture their Jewish experiences in their own words. She notes that the experience sparked excitement and anticipation in her peers to receive their letters in the future, allowing them to revisit the commitments they had made years earlier. Sharing What Matters – Things You Should Know The Next Generation of Philanthropists Slingshot, a nonprofit supporting young Jewish philanthropic leaders, released a study examining how the younger generation of philanthropists feels overwhelmed, yet determined in a post-October 7 world. Getting off the “Sidelines” to Confront Antisemitism Blue Square Alliance Against Hate President released a study showing antisemitism is reaching alarming levels in the U.S., but President Adam Katz told Axios the findings aren’t permanent, it can be reversed, but only if “people get off the sidelines now.” Jewish Youth Promise is just one way you get off the sidelines and protect a strong Jewish future.
